Charles Khoury 

Managing Director and Principal

 

Academic Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Taxation,from University of New South Wales.
  • Post Graduate Diploma of Advanced Taxation UNSW
  • Diploma of Financial Planning
  • Diploma of Corporate Management, from Institute of Corporate Management and Administrators.
  • Accounting Certificate – North Sydney TAFE.
Professional Qualifications
  • Fellow of the National Tax And Accounting Association. 
  • Registered Tax Agent.
Charles Khoury commenced his accounting career in the commercial field accumulating a wealth of knowledge and experience in business and management. He was appointed Financial Controller and Company Secretary of a small group of companies in Melbourne at the young age of 21. After several years of senior management experience, Charles set up his own accounting practice in the Sydney suburb of Punchbowl. The business rapidly grew with the opening of additional offices at Liverpool, Campsie and Ermington. Ermington was moved to Parramatta. 

Charles Khoury has special interest in tax and specialises in tax problem solving. He is able to negotiate on clients' behalf to ensure that clients always receive a fair treatment from the tax office and their rights are respected at all times.

Charles through his tax expertise has successfully negotiated difficult audit cases on behalf of clients and saved them tens of thousands of dollars. He is always ready to take on such cases to ensure that clients receive a fair treatment from the ATO.

Charles has a passion for serving the community, making a positive contribution and innovating ways to improve and enrich clients' businesses.
 
Charlie's interests include:

Travelling, skiing, reading, hiking and family time.


Romio Azzi 
Associate

  • Associate Diploma of Accounting.
  • MYOB Certificate.
Professional Qualifications
  • Associate Member of National Institute of Accountants.
Romio is best known for his reliable, efficient and friendly service. He loves to solve business problems in timely fashion.

Romio has a passion for small business and helps ensure that clients are running their businesses successfully. He has an eye for detail and willingly advises clients on ways to save costs and make more money.

Romio's interests include:
Playing soccer, reading, listening to music.

George Khoury
Managing Principal

George has over 25 years of Professional Accounting, Audit and Taxation experience. This includes over a decade with a leading international accounting firm, Ernst & Young.  George also has extensive US GAAP experience having worked for two years in California in the United States.  His solid management experience and exposure to the "Big Four" assists George in providing his clients with highly technical advice and excellent professional service.  George is a lateral thinker who “cuts-through” the complexities of managing business with effective and strategic solutions.  He leads the Khourys team at the Liverpool Office and has made a substantial contribution to the growth of the firm as well as his clients.

George heads internal systems development and monitoring.  He conducts training seminars both internally for staff and externally for clients.

George's interests include:

International politics, property investment, football and golf.


Rodney Lahoud
Associate

Rodney works closely with his building and construction clients and over the past 10 years has seen them grow from strength to strength. He has help them achieve this by providing specialised advice for the industry. His enjoys spending time with his young family, 4WD and playing the Lebanese Base Drum.

William Bassill
Associate

William was employed by the firm as a Senior Accountant in 2003 and was promoted to the level of Associate in 2005. This promotion is indicative of his dedication to servicing our clients and delivering years of experience in Taxation, Accounting, Business Management and Self Managed Super Funds. William's wealth of knowledge is also drawn from prior national and international employment with Dawson & Partners in Sydney and Williamson & Co in Auckland.

William's philosophy is to offer complete value added solutions to our clients, enabling them to enhance their business to achieve that business edge. He believes in the importance of mutual trust and respect between the firm and the client. William is a star performer in our Khourys Team at Parramatta. He specialises in small business accounting and taxation and has helped many businesses with their tax minimisation and growth strategies.

William's interests include:
Family time, reading, soccer, fishing and table tennis.
